It's a new generation sunscreen agent that was specifically designed for high SPF and good UVA protectionand based on a 2007 study that compared 18 sunscreen agents available in the EU it really had the best SPF protection(they used the highest concentration allowed by EU regulations from each 18 sunscreens and Trinosorb S gave an SPF 20 all by itself). This list of ingredients represents all options or variants of this product. Actual ingredients in a given product option may vary from this list.

For those with sensitive skin, the gel might be a better option as it contains less alcohol and less potent chemical sun protection, so it may be less irritating. And if you're keeping an eye on your budget, the Watery Gel also tends to be cheaper than the Watery Essence per fluid ounce. Biore UV Aqua Rich Watery Essence, a watery essence with a transparent feel that blends effortlessly with the skin. There is no explanation on how much sunscreen to use, so it’s difficult to determine how much to put on and reapply to protect your skin from the UV. However, due to the complex and well-developed formula, as well as the ability to build up the product without making your skin uncomfortable, I’m not too worried about how to use it. But it would be nice to have some reference to follow.

Both items are formulated for the face and body, delivering maximum UV protection of SPF 50+ and PA++++. Overall, I have to say, it is pretty difficult to think of any cons, because the product works very well with my skin. Nonetheless, I will be listing some cons that do not apply to myself, but may be applied to others. The Pros:

Given the bad results from the first test and given the insane cult following of this sunscreen (so many people couldn’t be wrong, right!?), I thought it pertinent to source a different sample and see if I had maybe tested a bad sample. Unfortunately, the second sample from a completely different bottle tested just about the same, with poopy-poo-poop results. The Biore Watery Essence is wildly popular in Japan and for good reason. This lightweight chemical sunscreen glides onto the skin and leaves absolutely no white cast behind.

COMMUNITY

The Biore Watery Gel, on the other hand, is a mineral and chemical hybrid sunscreen sunscreen with a watery, runny texture that's perfect for both the face and body. It offers the same SPF 50+ PA++++ protection, but with a slight twist: the addition of Titanium Oxide as a physical barrier against UV rays (on top of the same chemical filters that are in the Watery Essence). You already know it, but I give this product a 100 out of 10! There may be so many sunscreens in Japan that are good, but considering the price, amount of product, usability and quality of this product, this sunscreen is hands down the best! This product is something that all people should use in their skincare routine, or use at least once in their lifetime. May be drying to some people’s skin types, or vice versa, greasy (may depend on your skin type or environment you live in)
